TAVEL has been reputed for its ROSE wines as long as one can remember and it is considered as the first Rosé in France. This famous Domaine Maby rosé is made from nine grape varieties, amongst which Grenache and Cinsault dominate, providing it’s much sought after fruity, spicy character. Low temperature vatting for one to two days lays the base for a glistening colour in the wine which can range from light pink to ruby red, set off on the palate by very supple tannins which also provide the wine with excellent ageing potential. Slow, low temperature fermentation maintains the full fruity content.
