The Milenrama Reserva, crafted by winemaker Ruth de Andrés, showcases the quality of the De Andrés Sisters’ project, utilizing high-altitude (300-500m) vineyards with 40-year-old vines grown on gravel over clay-limestone soils. This wine is aged for 18 months in oak barrels, contributing to its complexity and structure.
Appearance: Deep burgundy red, with a vibrant and intense hue.
Aroma: Rich and complex, offering aromas of ripe red fruits (think cherry and raspberry), interwoven with notes of spice, tobacco, and subtle dried fruit, all harmonized by oak influence.
Palate: Smooth and velvety, with well-integrated, silky tannins. The palate reveals balanced red fruit flavors, hints of earthy spice, and a touch of oak-driven vanilla, culminating in a long, satisfying finish.
Food Pairing Suggestion: Pairs excellently with grilled duck sausage and white beans or other hearty dishes like roasted meats or aged cheeses.
